Sales Policy

Shipping

Most items are shipped out UPS Ground and/or Fedex Ground using their published rates based on dimensional weight and distance. Oversized items, ie. molding, will be shipped DHL, Fedex Freight or Common Carrier depending on the most cost effective rate.

Catalog

Our catalog is made up of the items normally in stock at L & L Marine and represents products most often needed by out customers. Because this does not include all products offered by the individual manufacturers, we are happy to special order products that are not normally stock items. During the year many items are added to and deleted from our product line. If you have any questions concerning the availability of a product, please feel free to call us.

Prices

Prices are subject to change without notice, with all orders shipped with prices in effect at the time of shipment. If there is any question about the price of an item, please call before quoting a price to your customer!

Back-orders

When we are out of stock on a item we place the item on back-order unless specifically asked not to do so.

Warranty Claims

We are limited on our warranty policy to the terms of the manufacturers warranties. We will be happy to assist you on any warranty problems if you will call us as soon as possible. Final warranty adjustment will be determined by the manufacturer and credit, repair, or replacement made upon their recommendation.

Terms

Customers who have applied for credit and have shown credit worthiness will be granted some form of terms, commensurate with their credit history. If an account becomes 30 days past due the account will be notified. If we do not receive payment within 15 days the account will be changed to C.O.D. If at the end of 60 days the account is still not current or arrangements have not been made to clear up the unpaid balance, we will take stronger measures to collect.

Special Orders

Special Orders returned will be billed a 25% restock charge. Dealers should collect the full purchase price or a substantial deposit from their customer before they place the order. Remember to include the cost of freight in and freight out in your estimate to the customer.
